The actually game mechanics are solid, everything a quick pick up game should be. The 2 Big problems for me are Stability of the App (or lack there of) and Loading. The last game I played that had this much loading was The Elder Scrolls: Obilivion on Xbox 360, but I digress... Below is a general summary of me launching Kamikaze Robots from the Springboard on iPhone 2g, iPhone 3g, and iPod Touch 2g ( I should note that the loading times on the iPod is the fastest)
If you wrangled in the amount of loading and or loading times alone, I would come back and throw ya 5 stars easily...
- Boot Up
- *Loading*
- Splash Screen
- *Loading*
- Splash Screen
- Hilariously Loud Soundtrack (Loudest sound to ever come out of my iPhone or iPod, Not a bad thing, just loud. And you can disable it.)
- Enter Tournament
- *Loading*
- Select where your going to be doing your controlled falling.
- *Loading*
- Get kicked off Techno Mountain.
- (insert Variable: if you fail and have to retry multiple times Kamikaze Robots might take a dirt-nap.)
- If you win
- *Loading*
- Upgrades if you got em
- *Loading*
- Rinse and Repeat...
